We are pleased to be able to support Heritage Open Days at the Newsome Centre (former St John’s Church).  We will have an exhibition supporting the work of our Memorial Inscription Team, family history help and advice and a guided tour of the churchyard, showing interesting gravestones transcribed by the team.  The graveyard tours will start at the following times and you should meet at the display board outside the church. Please wear suitable footwear and note that joining is at your own risk.

Saturday – tours begin at 10.30, 12 noon and 13.30 – they will each last about an hour.
Sunday – tours being at 10.30 and 12.30 – they will each last about an hour.

Come and join us inside the Centre for the exhibition, help and family history advice on Saturday between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm and Sunday between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm. This is a free event.
