Logging In To This New Website
Some members from the time of our old website have experienced problems with their initial logging in to our new website. If this is the case for you, apologies in the first instance and let’s get you over the problem. Please note that the website does not send any details of requests for new passwords to the Webmaster, it only deals directly with you, the user. We cannot see your passwords, for obvious security reasons. So, if the problem continues, use the contact form to send a message to the Webmaster because we will not automatically know about it.
Apologies also if you have done some of this already, let’s go through the process in logical steps.
First of all, the log-in credentials for the old website are not valid on the new one, due to the change of system. So, go to the Log-In tab of the new website, give it your email address as the username and then select the box to say that you have forgotten your password. Don’t use any old usernames or passwords. If the system does not recognise your submitted username i.e. your email address, send a message to the Webmaster so that we can make sure that your email address is up to date in our database.
The system should then send you an email and go through a process where you set your password, giving you control over its selection. You should then be able to log in with your email address and your chosen password. If that initial email does not come through, please check your Spam/Junk folder because some messages are being diverted.
If nothing comes through at all, please send a message to the Webmaster and we will send you a machine-generated password. It will be a more complex password, but that should do the trick. In the near future we are working towards members being able to adjust their passwords online, once registered.
